Foundation History
ARTES Group Foundation Inc. was born from a simple yet powerful conviction: talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not.
In a city as vibrant and diverse as New York, countless artists arrive with experience, training, and vision — yet without access to the networks and platforms necessary to advance their careers. ARTES was created to change that reality.
What started as a commitment to uplift local creative voices grew into a movement rooted in mentorship, access, and cultural celebration. Through workshops, performances, exhibitions, and interdisciplinary programming, ARTES became a space where artists could not only present their work, but also develop confidence, community, and professional direction.
Over time, the foundation expanded its reach, building partnerships and organizing cultural initiatives that honor identity, heritage, and innovation. Each project reinforces a central belief: art has the power to transform individuals and unite communities.
